The Term Training Electrical Contractors Course is made up of two parts, a business and a technical course which set out by the Electrical Safety Office of Queensland.

The QBP course is designed to educate and inform learners about the legislative, regulatory, electrical and business requirements associated with electrical contracting.

The course is delivered either fully online or correspondence with a workbook sent in the post. The course has a combination of six assignments that include short answer, multi-choice, research and portfolio style assignments and its duration is 35hrs. (depending of students past experience). There are no pre-requisites for students entering this unit.

After successful completion, you will receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the following units:

UEECD0007 – Apply Occupational Health and Safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace
UEEEL0040 – Develop plans and compliance policies to conduct a electrical contracting business
BSBESB402- Establish legal and risk management requirements of small business or approved equivalent

These units satisfies the QBP requirements in Queensland for persons applying for a Queensland Electrical Contractors License.
